Description
Sylvia Choi, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatric hospitalist at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Choi joined the Paul C. Gaffney Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine in 1998 following completion of her pediatric residency at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, including a year spent as chief resident. Prior to that, she earned her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include children with medical complexity and observation medicine. Choi enjoys teaching with a focus on communications skills and has been involved with resident and faculty education as well as national workshops.
