Since completing medical school at the University of California at San Francisco, and pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Dr. Behrstock has been in pediatric private practice in the Hoag Hospital and Costa Mesa surrounding areas for over 30 years. He has participated in over 20 international volunteer medical trips, written three books, the most recent of which is on glassblowing and philosophy. He currently serves as the President of Greater Newport Physicians (GNP), a large IPA in Orange County and is a physician board member of the Memorial Care Medical Foundation. In addition, he actively participates as a patient and physician advocate for quality in the changing face of medicine in America.
