Dr. Kong chose to go into pediatrics because it incorporates her interest in science and medicine with her passion to help others in need. Growing up as the oldest of five children helped establish Dr. Kong's nurturing character and drew her toward pediatrics. Dr. Kong enjoys watching her patients grow and develop. She feels privileged to be able to contribute to their well-being, even in small ways.
