Carolyn Birbiglia, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine team. Dr. Birbiglia pursued a career in health care to have the opportunity to form relationships with her patients and become a trusted resource to them. She applied to medical school with the goal of becoming a pediatrician and has never looked back. Her expertise in pediatrics involves treating patients from birth through young adulthood. She loves caring for children of all ages and enjoys discussing topics ranging from newborn care to common childhood illnesses to mental or reproductive health concerns in adolescents. In addition, Dr. Birbiglia recently received her certification as a CLC (Certified Lactation Counselor).
