Description
Dr Chioma Torres earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine. Following that, she completed her residency at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Her commitment to further specialization led her to a fellowship in Pediatrics-Developmental/Behavioral at the University of Michigan. Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr Torres has a keen focus on various clinical interests, including adverse childhood experiences and childhood trauma, infant mental health, media's impact on child behavior, the intersectionality of neurodevelopmental disorders with race, ethnicity, SES, and gender, and addressing health disparities.
