Dr. Balistreri joined what was then Alexandria Lake Ridge Pediatrics in 1994, easing back to part-time in 2008 and taking two years off along the way to devote to her then young and busy family. But her love of children has always dawn her back to pediatrics. Asked why she chose pediatrics, Dr. Balistreri stated “Because I adore children! They put a smile on my face. I enjoy educating families so that they can be confident in their parenting. The most rewarding part of being a pediatrician with ALL Pediatrics is being able to develop long term relationships with families. I’ve been able to watch children grow from newborns to high school students”.
