Dr. Derek Baumbouree, board-certified pediatrician, moved to Lafayette in 1998 and established a pediatrics practice, where he has treated generations of Acadiana children. Dr. Baumbouree continues to build lasting relationships with the families in his care. That starts with listening intently and understanding their personalized needs. He specializes in general wellness, health maintenance, developmental assessment, chronic pediatric conditions and parental guidance. Dr. Baumbouree earned a medical degree from LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, where he also completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics.
