Shaheena Anene, MD, FAAP, is a board certified pediatrician (American Board of Pediatrics) at WK Pediatric Health & Wellness, part of Willis-Knighton Health System in north Louisiana. She graduated college at Angelo State University in Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a double minor in chemistry and German. Dr. Anene went on to earn a Master of Medical Science degree at University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, followed by a medical degree at American University of the Caribbean. Dr. Anene loved Shreveport when she came here for her pediatrics residency at LSU Health Sciences Center and decided to stay. She keeps up with medical trends as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
