I am a Shreveport native, born and raised in Northwest Louisiana. After graduating from C.E. Byrd High School in 2002, I attended college at the University of Arkansas, earning a Biologic Sciences degree. Coming back to attend medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport was an easy decision. I went to Jackson, Mississippi for my pediatric residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children. Shreveport is my home, so coming back here after completing my residency was a natural choice. I am certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
