Dr. Elyssa Yantis was born outside of Cleveland, Ohio and is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. She obtained her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University, DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN, before moving to Texas to complete her residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Prior to moving to Kentucky, Dr. Yantis was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in Galveston, in addition to holding the position of Assistant Director of Continuity Clinic, where she spent time seeing patients, supervising residents and medical students, as well as teaching.
