Dr. Fernando Indacochea is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the European Academy of Pediatrics (EAP). He is the Past President of the WV Chapter of the AAP. His past professional experience includes working as a pediatrician at EA Hawse Health Center in West Virginia, Director of pediatrics at Grant Memorial Pediatrics in Petersburg WV, and pediatrician at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. In 2010, he was awarded West Virginia Pediatrician of the Year, and in 2008, West Virginia Rural Health Practitioner of the Year. He was born in Lima, Peru, and is now a United States citizen. Dr. Indacochea is married, has three children, enjoys long-distance running, and is fluent in both Spanish and English.
