Irene Kocolas, M.D., M.S., is an Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics Division of Inpatient Medicine at the University of Utah. Dr. Kocolas received her undergraduate education in physiology at the University of California Los Angeles, her Masters of Science degree in physiology at the Chicago Medical School and her M.D. from the University of Utah. After completing postgraduate training in Pediatrics at the University of Utah, she was elected and served as chief resident in University of Utah pediatrics residency program from 2010-2011. While chief resident, she oversaw the education of 85 pediatric residents.
