Description
Dr. Simkins received her Bachelor of Science in food science and human nutrition from the University of Florida. She earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in social and behavioral sciences from Yale University, followed by her Doctor of Medicine from University of Florida. Dr. Simkins then went on to complete her pediatric residency at St. Louis Children's Hospital-Washington University. Prior to joining Westmed, Dr. Simkins was the chief pediatrician of adoption/foster Care at The Children's Village in Bronx, NY. In this role, she managed the medical needs of children in the welfare system.
