Being a pediatrician allows me to advocate for my young patients and provide guidance to their parents. I am grateful and privileged to be in a position to care for people's health. I come from an immigrant background, and my parents instilled in me the importance of perseverance and a desire to help others. n As the first person in my family to go to college, I feel it is essential that I make the most of the position I'm in.
