Description
Dr Michael Carpenter, board-certified pediatrician, provides well-child visits, treats children when they are sick and manages chronic or ongoing medical conditions. Dr Carpenter didn't always know he wanted to be a doctor. “I was planning on a career as a Wildlife Biologist specializing in Herpetology, the study of reptiles and amphibians, and I have always liked keeping snakes, he said. “I kept a pet Burmese Python for over 20 years and she was 14 feet long and 130 pounds when I had to sell her to a zoo due to moving overseas. His Herpetology career was cut short when he fell in love with medicine while working as an EMT/Paramedic.
