Pediatric Neuropsychologist Esther Chin, PhD, owns NeuroMind in Schaumburg, Illinois. Dr. Chin and her team conduct neuropsychological testing on children and teens ages 2 to 18. Neuropsychological testing is an objective look at how the brain works. Among other traits, it may assess factors such as a child’s thinking abilities, social and emotional traits, mood, personality, memory, problem-solving skills, social engagement, impulse control, and language abilities. The results include a customized strategic roadmap—a plan to help with a child’s unique behavioral, psychological, relational, academic, and social interactions.
