Description
Dr. Rebecca Gildersleeve, a board-certified pediatrician at Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Albany Medical Center. She attended medical school at Albany Medical College. She decided to go into medicine as a pediatrician when working in a research lab at Dana Farber Cancer Institute as a way to combine her love for working with children and medicine. She has special professional interests in treating allergies and asthma, providing lactation (breastfeeding) support, and treating skin disorders and ADHD. Outside of the office, Dr. Gildersleeve enjoys running and skiing. She lives with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
