A few words from Dr. Reginald Sampang: Pediatrics has always been my greatest passion. I completed my medical degree in the Philippines then moved to the US to join my parents and practice my medical profession. I grew up in a small town where I was exposed to children of all ages constantly playing together outdoors. This often resulted to a higher chance of contracting common viruses. Access to a Pediatrician was usually not readily available, mostly due to proximity, cost or families’ inherent fear of doctors. From a young age, this left an impression on me in terms of how I can help patients and parents feel more comfortable and safe in a medical environment.
