Description
Dr. Ankrah was born and raised in Deep Run, a small town located in eastern North Carolina. After completing her schooling, Dr. Ankrah worked for six years at the Children's Hospital and Research Center Oakland as an attending physician with the pediatric residency primary care program before moving to Charlotte with her family. She was involved with teaching and observing residents as they rotated through the primary care clinic. While in Oakland, Dr. Ankrah's special interests included pediatric advocacy and exploring multicultural approaches to healthcare. Since joining Novant Health Elizabeth Pediatrics in 2007, Dr. Ankrah has enjoyed exploring the facets of Charlotte living. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children. In...
