Dr. Shelley Nelson is a pediatrician with the Lincoln Pediatric Group. Dr. Nelson joined Lincoln Pediatric Group in 2016. Dr. Nelson received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with high distinction from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Dr. Nelson received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2011. She completed her pediatric residency at Indiana University with Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis in 2014, won the Henry Jones Teaching Award for her residency and is board certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Nelson spent the last two years as a newborn hospitalist in Indianapolis, Indiana working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and newborn nurseries.
