Stephen K. Johnson, M.D., Ph.D. grew up in Fairfax, Virginia, before moving to North Carolina to complete college and graduate school. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and his doctorate in clinical psychology from The University of North Carolina, Greensboro. He and his wife, Lori, moved to Louisville to complete their training in psychology. He completed his child psychology internship and post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at Norton Children’s Hospital and worked as a child psychologist for several years.
