Dr. Swatantra Mitta is board certified in pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from Osmania Medical College. Dr. Mitta completed her pediatric residency at Kings County Hospital, a pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship at Downstate Medical Center, and a pediatric oncology and chemotherapy fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Dr. Mitta believes that mindfulness and nutrition are the foundations for good health. She is especially interested in preventing childhood obesity and helping kids manage anxiety and stress.
